Freight Exchanges in Ukraine 2026: Which One to Choose

CargoPro NewsHub10 March 202681 views

A comparison of five freight exchanges active on the Ukrainian market in 2026: Lardi-Trans, Della, TimoCom, Trans.eu and CarGoPro - who each one suits, and why.

If you haul inside Ukraine and need the largest pool of loads, use Lardi-Trans. For simple day-to-day work, Della. For EU runs, TimoCom or Trans.eu. If you also need fleet management, documents and tenders in one system, CarGoPro. There is no universally "best" freight exchange: the right choice depends on your routes and on how many processes you want to keep in a single window.

Disclosure about this review. It is published on the CarGoPro website — one of the five platforms compared here. We cannot be fully neutral, so we deliberately list ourselves last, state our own limitations alongside the advantages, and avoid claims such as "market leader". Everything written about competitors is publicly available information about how they position themselves, not our own measurements. Pricing and terms change, so check current figures on each platform's own site.

How we compared

We did not measure search speed or the number of loads — those figures cannot be verified from the outside, and publishing unverifiable numbers on our own site would be dishonest. The comparison is therefore built on what can be checked: stated coverage, the set of modules, access method (web, app, messenger), whether a free entry exists, and language support.

Platforms are ordered from the widest coverage of the Ukrainian market down to the youngest. CarGoPro is last on purpose, because this review sits on our own site.

Lardi-Trans

The largest and one of the oldest freight exchanges on the Ukrainian market. Historically it gathered the bulk of carriers and forwarders working across Ukraine and towards Europe.

Main strengthvolume. This is where you are most likely to find a truck or a load on an unpopular direction, simply because the platform has the most participants.

Reputation toolscarrier ratings, reviews, verification of counterparty documents.

Limitationthe interface is historically heavier than modern platforms, and the learning curve for a newcomer is steeper. Work revolves around the load board: fleet management, document flow and tenders have to be handled with separate tools.

Best for: forwarders and carriers whose priority is the sheer number of available loads, and who already run their own tools for everything else.

Della

One of the oldest business portals on the Ukrainian freight market. It grew out of a general business directory, so the interface stays simple and familiar to people who have worked in the industry for years.

Main strengthspeed and simplicity. Minimal steps between opening the board and making a call.

Domestic focusmost activity sits inside the country, which suits regional carriers.

Limitationthe platform is a classifieds board by design. There is no fleet register, no document flow, no tender procedures and no analytics; the international side is weaker than the domestic one.

Best for: small carriers and dispatchers working inside Ukraine who do not want to learn a complex system.

TimoCom

A European freight platform, one of the largest in the EU. Oriented towards international transport inside Europe and on Europe — Eastern Europe corridors.

Main strengththe European base. For runs between EU countries the number of offers is not comparable to Ukrainian boards.

Participant verificationaccess involves company vetting, which lowers the risk of dealing with a random counterparty.

Limitationthe platform is paid, and the entry barrier for a Ukrainian carrier is higher: documents, international experience and readiness to work by European rules. For domestic Ukrainian runs there is little point.

Best for: companies that run to the EU systematically and hold the required permits.

Trans.eu

A European platform with Polish roots, historically strong on Poland — Ukraine routes and across Central and Eastern Europe.

Main strengththe EU — Ukraine corridor. On Polish, Czech and Lithuanian directions there are usually more offers than on purely Western European boards.

Additional servicesrouting, monitoring, tools for working with recurring partners.

Limitationpaid access, documentation requirements for carriers, and an orientation towards companies rather than owner-operators.

Best for: carriers working the Polish and Central European directions.

CarGoPro

The youngest platform in this comparison. Built not as a classifieds board but as a workplace: load and truck search, fleet, documents, tenders and CRM inside one system.

What you can verify right now without registering:

13 language versionsUkrainian, Russian, English, Polish, German, Czech, Romanian, Turkish, Lithuanian, Spanish, Italian, Kazakh, Georgian. The interface and generated documents are available in each of them.

Telegram bot @cargo_pro_botthe same functionality as the website, inside the messenger, in all thirteen languages. Loads arrive in the same app where you already talk to your drivers.

PlansStarter, Pro and Corporate. As of this review these three are open free of charge. Enterprise exists separately as a corporate solution on individual terms and is not part of the free access.

What the platform includes after registration:

Exchange with radarsloads matched against your vehicle parameters instead of scrolling the whole board.

Fleet managementtrucks, trailers, drivers, documents and their expiry dates in one register.

Document flowgeneration of CMR, consignment notes, contracts, invoices and acts; exchange through EDI.

Tenders and auctionsprocurement of transport among vetted carriers.

Counterparty CRMyour own pool of partners and targeted offers instead of searching blind.

3D load plannercargo layout in the trailer with axle load checks and compliance against the road rules of the route country.

Market analyticsload density by region and direction.

Limitations worth knowing before you register:

It complements a classic exchange rather than replacing one. Most users run both: the familiar board for volume, CarGoPro for fleet, documents, tenders and recurring partners.

The entry barrier is higher than a plain board. Document flow, tenders and the 3D planner take time to learn. If all you need is "look at the loads and call" — Della is faster.

Counterparty history is shorter. Ratings and reviews build up over years, and platforms with two decades behind them are ahead on archive depth.

Best for: companies tired of keeping an exchange, a spreadsheet and a messenger separately, working across several languages, or wanting to handle documents in the same system where the load was found.

Choosing by scenario

I run one or two trucks inside Ukraine

Start with Della or CarGoPro — both give a fast free start. Della is simpler, CarGoPro gives more tools for later. For maximum reach add Lardi-Trans — most people run the two together.

I have a fleet of 10+ trucks

One exchange will not cover it. You need a combination: Lardi-Trans for load volume plus a system that tracks trucks, drivers and documents. That can be CarGoPro or a separate TMS.

I am a forwarder working with hired transport

The key factors are counterparty vetting and fast matching. Lardi-Trans gives the widest choice; CarGoPro gives a carrier CRM and targeted offers to recurring partners instead of searching from scratch every day.

We haul to Europe

TimoCom or Trans.eu, depending on direction: TimoCom is stronger inside the EU, Trans.eu on the Polish corridor. A Ukrainian exchange is usually kept in parallel for return loads.

I need to work from a phone

CarGoPro through its Telegram bot: loads, bids and documents inside the same messenger where you talk to drivers, with no separate app to install.

What it costs

There is no universal answer, and specific figures in reviews go stale within months. The general market logic: Ukrainian exchanges usually offer limited free access and charge for extended features and higher limits. European platforms work on subscription and normally require company vetting before you are connected at all.

As of this review, CarGoPro Starter, Pro and Corporate are open free of charge — an open-access period, not a permanent condition. Enterprise is outside it, being a corporate solution on individual terms. For the other platforms, check current prices on their own sites: they change more often than reviews are updated.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use several exchanges at once

Yes, and in practice most people do. One exchange gives volume, another gives convenience or extra tools. None of these platforms restricts parallel use.

What if there are no loads on my direction

That is normal for narrow directions. Practical options: connect a second exchange, set up notifications instead of manual scrolling, or work through direct arrangements with recurring customers.

How do I verify a carrier or a shipper

At minimum: company registration data, history on the platform, rating and reviews. Lardi-Trans has its own reputation tools; CarGoPro offers a free Ukrainian company registry check without registration. No check replaces a contract.

Do I need an exchange if I already have regular customers

An exchange is useful for return loads and for filling idle time, even when the bulk of your volume comes from regular clients. For those clients, CRM tools work better than a public board.

Which exchange is best for a beginner

The one you can start on fastest without spending money — that means the Ukrainian platforms with free entry. European ones require documents and a subscription, so they do not work as a first step.

What is changing in 2026

A few shifts visible without any special analysis:

1

Working from a messenger has stopped being exotic — drivers and dispatchers close tasks from a phone more often than from a desktop.

2

Parameter-based matching instead of manual scrolling — a board with a thousand entries is unreadable, so platforms with proper filters and alerts win.

3

One system instead of three — an exchange, an accounting file and documents in separate windows create double data entry and mistakes.

4

Counterparty verification as a default — vetting, ratings and a documented trail are becoming standard rather than optional.
